The Blizzard of Ozz
INGREDIENTS
- 1½ oz Blackstrap Rum (for Ozzy’s dark, gritty edge)
- ½ oz Fernet-Branca (a nod to his intensity and unpredictability)
- ½ oz Cherry Heering (for a splash of crimson and theatrics)
- ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice (to balance the madness)

- ½ oz Simple syrup

- 2 dashes Angostura bitters

- A small splash of soda water (optional, for a lighter finish)

- Garnish: Luxardo cherry pierced through a mini bat-shaped pick

- Optional rim: Crushed black lava salt

INSTRUCTIONS
- If using, rim a chilled rocks glass with black lava salt.
- In a shaker, add the rum, Fernet-Branca, Cherry Heering, lemon juice, simple syrup, and bitters.
- Shake with ice until chilled and slightly chaotic.
- Strain into the prepared glass over a large ice cube.
- Top with a small splash of soda water if desired.
- Garnish with the cherry on a bat pick, and toast to the madman himself.
