Champagne Julep
INGREDIENTS
- 6 to 8 small fresh mint leaves
- 1 tsp superfine sugar
- ¼ oz fresh lemon juice
- Dash of Cognac
- 3 to 5 oz chilled champagne
- Garnish: Fresh mint sprig
INSTRUCTIONS
Muddle the mint leaves, sugar, lemon juice, and Cognac together in the bottom of a collins glass. Add a few ice cubes, and slowly top with champagne. Garnish with the mint sprig.
